With the ringing of the bell that is Comikaze 2014 the Con Season comes to a close for Southern California. Cosplayers will hang their spandex for the winter months while they hibernate and work on their costumes for 2015. When all is said and done we would be hard pressed to ask for a better send off than the only convention with Stan Lee’s mark of approval.
With room still to grow, Comikaze stands as a strong mid-level Con in the same vein at Long Beach Comic-Con and just out of the range of WonderCon. Still with guests like cast members of the Game of Thrones, John Barrowman, a reunion of My Little Pony cast members, and their annual Cosplay Contest and Geek Fashion Shows Comikaze seems to have an edge that keeps them ahead of the curve when it comes to conventions.
